Independent living skills are individualized and targeted for each of our students. We build upon the skills they have and introduce new skills as they are successful. Our students target skills within the school and some have started targeting skills within the community.
Additionally, we are offering community based goals to work on areas of need such as waiting in line at the grocery store, running errands, going out to eat, or whatever is needed for the student and their family. These are just a few examples of important life skills that make a difference in their lives and their families lives.
