Parent Support

Branches School offers a monthly support group for parents and caregivers of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The group is led by a volunteering parent and is open to all parents and caregivers. The meetings are an opportunity to discuss school news, upcoming events, or any other relevant topics. The primary goal is to provide a space for parents to talk freely and support each other.

Every month, we invite all parents to attend a training meeting, held one evening during the week. During the meeting, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst presents a specific topic of Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is a great opportunity for parents to learn and engage, regardless of whether their child attends Branches School or not. Additionally, we will also share upcoming events and school news during this time.

Since our son has been at Branches, we've seen clear progress on multiple fronts. His focus is stronger, his ability to cope with changes has gotten much better and his incidents of dysregulation have sharply dropped – both at school and at home. And he's discovered that he actually loves math! 

We appreciate the quantity of data that the Branches team tracks on our son — and the way they apply this information to developing a plan for helping him make tremendous amounts of real progress – academically, developmentally and behaviorally.
