Each month, all parents are invited to a parent training meeting, which will be held one evening during the week. At this time, a specific topic of Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorder is presented by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. All parents are invited to join whether or not their child attends Branches School. Upcoming events and school news will also be conveyed during this meeting.
In addition, Branches School hosts a monthly parent support group led by a parent who has volunteered to be the organizer, open to all parents and caregivers whose child(ren) has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. The meetings are held in order to discuss upcoming events, school news, or any other topics of their choice. This meeting is meant for parents to talk freely and support one another.
Since our son has been at Branches, we've seen clear progress on multiple fronts. His focus is stronger, his ability to cope with changes has gotten much better and his incidents of dysregulation have sharply dropped – both at school and at home. And he's discovered that he actually loves math!
We appreciate the quantity of data that the Branches team tracks on our son — and the way they apply this information to developing a plan for helping him make tremendous amounts of real progress – academically, developmentally and behaviorally.
The communication with the Branches team is exceptional; they are proactive and responsive. They clearly care about helping children succeed, and it shows in every interaction. - Andew & Erin G.
I am beyond excited that my child has been given the opportunity to attend a school in our community who’s programming is tailored to his specific needs. Since being a student here, he is just flourishing and has very quickly made significant progress. He is excited to go to school every day and always comes home happy. Branches School of the Berkshires is such an amazing asset for our children. - Lindy H.
"I was over the moon to hear about the school! Thank you so much for providing our children with this opportunity to learn and grow!" - Jessicah K.
